Bologna – At , the international meeting with surface design and bathroom furnishing brands, we noticed three major trends: Back to Blue, Metallic Touch and Neutral but Unique. Here are some of the highlights regarding each one.
BACK TO BLUE
Colour is now back, after a long period of minimalism and neutral ambience – but blue is what goes for the majority.
One is the colour Illusion in the Étoile de Rex, a light blue. Its magnum size and its marble finishes now have a precise character that can define the spaces with iconic colours.

The Blue Ponti is perfectly in line with the general trends and perfectly recalls the 70s, with bright colours and geometric shapes. The handpainted tiles are in a very traditional shape, in order for the client to play freely with the composition.
The , with their new collection Vulcanika and in particular the colour Raku Blue, present a wide choice of styles and combinations that play with 3D but also with shiny and raw finishes.

from Iris Ceramica group presented the Magneto collection, which represents cement altered with metallic and oxidation effects. They have created a very unique palette, and will be mostly addressed to the contract market.

NEUTRAL TONE BUT UNIQUE FEELING
Light colours that recall a Sunday walk on the seaside or the landscapes of spring, where greens, blues, terracotta and beiges perfectly combine.
The Sunday collection recalls the landscape of deserted beaches with a collection of six dusty colours in five different interpretations (see also our cover image), which can be thanks to the versatile 20x20 and 20x10 formats.
The new Primavera collection, designed by Barber & Osgerby, resembles natural elements with all their irregularities, starting with and reproduced in bigger slabs.
