All this month, advertising agency has been giving passers-by a surprise with its window installation Real Life at Work. At the agency’s London office in Hanbury Street, illustrator and 3D artist turned a street-facing window into a monochrome scene of office life, recreating furniture and objects in paper and card.
Throughout August W+K employees have been taking turns to work from the window, with their actions being recorded for the live stream . The window is part of the Hello Neighbour series, a project which sees the creative agency invite different artists to take over the space and use it to project something creative to the city beyond.
Laurie D says: 'Essentially we wanted to take an office space one step further and give it a life of its own. Where in an ideal world time runs backwards, the phone continues to ring and paper work has a mind of its own.'
